Artist Spotlight: Ruth Asawa

There are small grouping of artists whose work I would die to have as part of my own collection. Ruth Asawa is one of them.  My favorite component of her work is the knit metal structures that take on organic forms. For now her work will rest, neatly bound, in a coffee table book in my living room.  I hope that someday I will have the opportunity acquire a fully realized piece of her brilliance.
